To maintain the AIGP certification, certification holders must meet two minimum requirements during their certification term:
1. Continuing Education
Certification holders must submit evidence of 20 continuing education credits that correspond to content included in the AIGP Body of Knowledge (BoK).
Continuing education helps certification holders maintain and expand their knowledge as artificial intelligence governance practices, regulations, technologies, and responsibilities continue to evolve.
2. Certification Maintenance Fee
Certification holders must also maintain the required Certification Maintenance Fee (CMF) for their certification term.
- For IAPP members, the certification maintenance fee is included as part of their membership benefits.
- For non-members, the initial certification maintenance fee is included in the exam fee.
- Upon recertification, non-members are required to pay a $250 Certification Maintenance Fee.
Meeting both the continuing education and certification maintenance requirements allows AIGP credential holders to maintain their certification throughout subsequent certification terms.

Student Employment Success - Project/Process Manager
My Career Services Manager was very friendly and helpful and had excellent follow-up. She seemed to really care how things were going and kept me moving in the right direction. The resources available in job search were great and the visibility that there were jobs out there looking for my skillset was promising. Additionally, the training, as well as having an updated resume stating the Microtrain course work I had taken made me feel more confident and marketable as I looked for employment. It showed that I was dedicated and took project management and process management seriously.
