This course is the expert level for Access and expands on topics covered in Levels 1 and 2. It introduces complex concepts such as complex forms, calculated controls, complex reports, subreports, database customization, splitting databases, and customizing the user interface.

About This Course

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Use the advanced reports feature on understanding report sections.
  • Change the designs of the report to better organize and summarize information and to improve the appearance.
  • Change the format of forms and report through special effects.
  • Create and revise basic Access macros.
  • Generate calculated control within the design of the report.
  • Run macros that require automatic data entry in certain fields.
  • Create macros using keystroke commands and edit basic macros to perform different types of results.
  • Import and export data from other applications as it relates to Access.
  • Understand and use hyperlink fields within Access.
